Parents: Please help by checking to see that your child’s JOURNAL is up-to-date. We write on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the beginning of class for five minutes. If he/she does not finish in the allotted time, he/she is to take it home to finish that night.

Criteria:

*The date and

*at least FIVE sentences on the teacher-selected topic

(freestyle writing; e.g., no stress spelling, grammar, etc.)

If he/she happens to be absent on a MWF, he/she is to check for the topic on the clipboard available to him/her in the front of the classroom…thanks!!!
